Navitasys India Private Limited, incorporated in 2019, is a leading lithium-ion battery manufacturer in India and a subsidiary of the Japan-based TDK Corporation. The company operates across four key business verticals: smartphone batteries, power banks, electric vehicle batteries, and Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) manufacturing. It currently holds the dominant share of the Indian smartphone battery market, serving all major mobile manufacturers in the country.
Leveraging cutting-edge technology from global leaders in the battery sector, Navitasys remains at the forefront of innovation. However, as the industry evolves, sourcing skilled professionals domestically has proven challenging. Recognizing this gap, the company took a strategic decision to nurture leadership talent from within.

A brain-storming session in progress.
To execute this vision, Navitasys partnered with the International Management Institute (IMI), Delhi, a prestigious institution under the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, to develop a customized leadership initiative: "Young Leadership Program – A Journey of Growth & Transformation."
IMI Building, Delhi.
This intensive program involved a comprehensive process of learning, development, and skill refinement. Among its various modules, the Business Leadership Module, spanning six months—including a peak business period—was single-handedly conducted by Kumar.
The program culminated in a convocation ceremony, where 17 candidates, who successfully navigated the demanding and transformative journey, were awarded certificates—marking the beginning of their leadership trajectory within the organization. The convocation was graced by Shirish Prasad, MD, Navitasys; Saveen Bhutani; Dr. Himadri Das, DG, IMI and other dignitaries from both sides.
A testament to perseverance and growth, the initiative reinforced Navitasys' commitment to fostering future leaders from within.
