Kumar has participated in numerous international conferences and seminars, within India and abroad, as Chief Guest, Eminent Speaker, Distinguished Panelist and Delegate. International Conference on Empowering Future (ICEF) 2025 was organized by Jaipuria School of Business, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad.
Kumar chaired the General Management track of the conference. There were presenters both from within the country as well as outside like Malaysia etc.
The NTPC School of Business (NSB) hosted the second edition of its flagship event, the NSB Energy & Sustainability Conclave (NESCON) 2025, from January 10-12, 2025, at NTPC's Power Management Institute in Noida.
Kumar attended this prestigious event as an Industrial Partner, thanks to the gracious invitation from Dr. Rajeshwari Narendran, Director of NSB.
The Startup Summit on “The Future of Innovation: From Startup to Global Impact” was organized by the ITS School of Management on December 18, 2024. Saurabh Munjal, Co-founder and CEO of Lahori Jeera was Chief Guest.

The Economic Times Oil & Gas Annual Conference & Expo was held during December 11-13, 2024 at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, Delhi. On day one, there were three panel discussions:
1. Balancing growth and sustainability
2. E&P Strategies for the future
3. Future of City Gas Distribution
On day two, one of the panel discussions was on 'Refining and Petrochemicals: Navigating the evolving landscape.
Mr. B Ashok, former Chairman, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., was one of the eminent panelist in the panel. He stressed the need for new refinery investments.
Mr. B Ashok said "India and China are currently the only nations capable of investing in greenfield refineries. With India’s refining capacity at 252 million tonnes and consumption at 235 million tonnes, expanding capacity is essential to meet growing energy demands and maintain economic growth."
"We must invest smartly in technologically advanced, flexible refineries to adapt to changing demands, reduce emissions, and maintain India's competitiveness in the global market."
'3rd World Education Festival: Conclave & Awards 2024' was held on December 11, 2024, at Hotel Taj Vivanta, Dwarka, Delhi.
Educationists from Cameroon, Africa came to grace the event.
Dr. Ruth and others were panelists for 'The future of hybrid learning: Balancing online and in-person education'.
The theme for the inaugural session was 'Shaping the future: The role of innovation and global collaboration in education and business'.

'Bharat @100 Summit' was organized by ASSOCHAM (December 5, 2024, Hotel Taj Mahal, Man Singh Road, Delhi).
Kumar Participated as a delegate. Seen with other delegates - Dr. Satish Kumar and student delegates - Shivam and Vairabi.
Shri Piyush Goyal, Hon'ble Minister for Commerce & Industry spoke on the topic: Fuelling Bharat's global rise, while Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Hon'ble Minister of External Affairs, addressed the gathering on topic: Enhancing Bharat's global partnership. Besides, there were other eminent speakers from across the industry. Main focus area was supporting Indian MSME sector to become globally competitive.
Global Sustainability Expo & Conference on 'Synergizing technology, finance, and ESG for a sustainable tomorrow' (December 3-4, 2024, Hotel Holiday Inn, Delhi) - Kumar participated as a delegate.

Two Chemical Engineers, Two Continents, and a Shared History.
Two chemical engineers meet, representing not just two nations but two generations of engineering excellence - one hails from India, the other from Mauritius. Their paths, shaped by time and geography, intertwine in a fascinating tale of professional milestones and shared memories.
The Indian engineer, an alumnus of the University of Calcutta, West Bengal graduated 40 years ago, while his Mauritian counterpart completed his engineering studies 30 years back at what is now the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, West Bengal (formerly the Regional Engineering College). The latter is set to visit his alma mater soon, marking his return after three decades.
Their professional journeys are equally captivating. One played a pivotal role in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India. The other is currently a Senior Environmental Affairs Officer under the Ministry of Energy & Public Utilities, Mauritius. Together, they have bridged two continents, with one spending years in Tanzania and the other continuing his work in Mauritius.
The Indian engineer authored the Feasibility Report that paved the way for the creation of an oil terminal in Mauritius. Today, that vision stands as a reality in the form of IndianOil (Mauritius) Ltd.’s state-of-the-art automated oil terminal at Mer Rouge, Port Louis, Mauritius.

India Warehousing Summit was held during July 11-12, 2024 at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, Delhi. Kumar is a logistics and supply chain expert. Smart warehouse is an integral component of today's global supply chain. Kumar attended the summit as a delegate.

The second edition of World Gas Summit was held during July 4-5, 2024 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
Kumar was Invited as speaker in the panel discussion.
The topic was “Creating Gas Supply and Distribution Infrastructure in India - From Expansion to Excellence Presentations.”
The 8th edition of the Global Refining & Petrochemicals Congress, themed ‘Evolving Frontiers: Shaping Tomorrow’s Downstream Landscape,’ took place at Hotel Le Meridien in New Delhi from June 27-28, 2024.
