Grooming future managers for the industry requires more than just classroom instruction. They need exposure to real-life situations in the corporate world. Management students frequently visit various industries, including two-wheeler and automobile manufacturers as well as oil companies that supply fuel for these vehicles.
Several industrial trips have been conducted with students from various prestigious management institutes:
February 22, 2023: Industry visit to Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Bijwasan, Delhi with a batch of 19 students
February 24, 2023: Industry visit to Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Panipat, Haryana with a batch of 20 students
September 16, 2023: Industry visit to Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Panipat Refinery and Petrochemical Complex, Panipat, Haryana with a batch of 35 students
November 6, 2023: Industry visit to Hero MotoCorp Ltd., plant at Dharuhera, Gurugram, Haryana with a batch of 50 students
May 8, 2024: Industry visit to Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Panipat, Haryana with a batch of 19 students

Students visited both manually controlled and automated plants. It was amazing to see how robots were performing hazardous jobs with precision and accuracy.
The share of Hero Moto Corp has dropped from 36% in FY 19 to 32.5% in FY23 (Apr 2022 - March 2023). The domestic two-wheeler industry grew 17% year-on-year in FY 2023 up from 13.57 million units recorded in FY22. The industry is still to come to levels shown in pre-covid time of FY 2018-19 when annual sales had peaked to 21.18 million units.
