An autograph is a signature, typically from a renowned individual or celebrity, cherished by admirers as a keepsake. It must be penned by the persons themselves. Autograph collectors often seek signatures from movie stars, musicians, artists, athletes, political leaders, religious figures, literary figures, etc. Philography is the hobby of collecting such autographs.
Philatelic Philography refers to the collection of autographs on philatelic materials—such as stamps or covers—by individuals who are directly associated with the subject or theme of the philatelic item.
In this presentation, Kumar showcases autographs from heads of institutions (CEO/MD/CMD etc.), senior officials, and other prominent figures on First Day Covers or Special Covers related to specific themes or subjects, related to philately. The range of topics reflects a diverse array of fields and interests, but mostly focused on Energy.
